The Country Road Caravan Park has the facilities to cater for overnight or extended stays for couples and families by offering tent sites, powered sites for caravans and motor homes, (many drive through and a number with your own ensuite facilities) and ensuite cabins and holiday units. As a member of KUI we offer a quality standard of facilities and service at our Uralla caravan park.

Our park was featured on “DISCOVER DOWN UNDER”, the Channel 10 Lifestyle programme aired on 25/3/06.
Ten minutes south of Armidale and halfway between Sydney and Brisbane, Uralla, in the heart of New England, is the ideal stopover.
The word ‘Uralla’ was taken by the European squatters from the local Aboriginal dialect. The Aniwan tribe of Aboriginals who frequented this area used the word ‘Uralla’ to describe a ‘meeting place’ or more especially a ‘ceremonial meeting place and a lookout on a hill’.
In a bygone era, Thunderbolt the Bushranger took this meaning very literally, from a lookout on a hill he met many travellers and relieved them of their property. Although Thunderbolt is remembered in the town by monuments and other displays, his actions belong to another era and everyone’s property is safe.
At the Country Road Caravan Park we love to meet people, especially travellers who need a place to rest. Whether for just an overnight stop or a longer period, we are ready to make your stopover relaxing and enjoyable. Being keen caravanners, we believe we offer what the traveller needs.

Pets Allowed
We are pleased to be able to allow you to bring your pets on your visit. Your pets must be under control at all times & health regulations prevent them from being in the accommodation.
Accommodation
We have a selection of Cabins. All come equipped with crockery & cutlery.
All bedding is included in our ensuite cabin pricing, with the double bed and single beds made up and bedding supplied for the bunks as required.
Enjoy a comfortable stay, whether for just a night or longer. All of our accommodation is “non smoking” thank you.

Great little caravan park, well run, clean not expensive. I’m staying in one of the comfy cabins and its well looked after and clean. The whole park is clean and well worth a stopover.

We needed a stop over on our trip, although not advertised the park is dog friendly, we were traveling with a small dog. The cabin was clean, very comfortable , quiet and close to the golf course
